Nadia Manjarrez grew up in Culiacán, Sinaloa, where her mother taught her to sew at six, and she studied fashion and textile design at the University of Monterrey before moving to New York in 2011. She spent about a decade there at houses including Bibhu Mohapatra, Badgley Mischka, Marchesa and Cushnie et Ochs, then went home to Mexico and started making wedding dresses for friends around 2020. Her studio bridal label is still run from an atelier in Culiacán staffed by Mexican women who head their households, with a New York showroom in the Flower District that you visit by appointment. The look is built on versatility and customization, with modular gowns meant to carry you from ceremony to reception, and the one gown in our catalog is $3,750.
