FFORME is a New York womenswear label, started in 2021 by Laura Vazquez and Nina Khosla, and it is a fashion brand first rather than a bridal specialist. That is the appeal if you want a wedding dress that does not read as one. The design language is architectural, built on line, texture, volume and detail, with exaggerated necklines, sloping shoulders and clean, streamlined finishes, and creative director Paul Helbers, who previously worked at The Row, Maison Margiela and Louis Vuitton, shaped the debut collection. One trade review called the clothes rich without being embellished and modern without chasing trends, which is a fair preview of how the dresses look. It is sold online and through about 20 independent boutiques in North America, and the dresses in our catalog run from about $1,600 to $4,500, with most near $1,800.
