Enaura is the name the brand now goes by at enaura.com, the same label that launched as Enaura Bridal in 2013 and whose old web address now redirects there. It was started by Sohil Mistry, who left the East Coast to study hand beading in India and had already launched a veil label, Blossom Veils, in 2011. The gowns are handmade to order with zardosi and tambour embroidery, and a single dress can take up to 500 hours of work, sometimes with 20 artisans beading it at once. Today the brand lists ateliers in New York and Raleigh, with collections like Kantha, Remnants and Unwoven, and its work is also sold through retailers and at trunk shows. Most gowns here run from about $3,900 to $10,400, with a median near $7,000, so think of it as heavily beaded and priced like it.
