The Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Collection is a line of princess-inspired wedding gowns that Allure Bridals made in partnership with Disney and unveiled at New York Bridal Fashion Week in April 2020. It started with 16 styles for characters like Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Tiana and Rapunzel, and a villains range followed with looks for Maleficent, Ursula, Jafar and the Evil Queen. The nods are built into the details rather than a costume look, with each character getting a signature color, like pearl for Ariel or lavender for Rapunzel, in ball gowns, mermaid trains and fit-and-flare shapes. Seven of the original styles are a pricier Platinum range sold exclusively at Kleinfeld in New York and Toronto, with extra crystal beading and hand-embroidered appliques, and sizes run 0 to 30. The gowns launched at $1,200 to $10,000, and the Kleinfeld pieces on Unveil run roughly $2,200 to $6,200, with a typical dress near $4,000.
