Anna Campbell started her bridal brand in Melbourne in 2007, when she was just 19, saying she wanted to challenge the bridal rulebook for brides who didn't see themselves in stiff, predictable silhouettes. Nearly 20 years on, every gown is still designed and handcrafted in her Melbourne studio, with a flagship boutique in the suburb of Hawthorn and stockists in more than 70 bridal boutiques worldwide. The look is modern romantic, with hand-embellished details, custom laces and soft, flowing shapes that feel feminine without being fussy. In 2019 she also launched Silk and Stitch, a fabric company that repurposes deadstock, and the studio works made to order to cut down on waste. Gowns on Unveil run from about $2,200 to $4,800, with most landing nearer $3,900.
